2017
The efforts of the Watchfinder business development were repaid in 2017 with a placement in the 2017 Sunday Times Profit Track 100 listing, ranking 48th amongst a showcase of companies that demonstrated the fastest growing profits over a period of three years. This highly prestigious achievement demonstrated the promise of the Watchfinder model, charting previous winners such as Carphone Warehouse and Dyson in its years of operation.
2018
Watchfinder’s dominance in the pre-owned market was recognised in 2018 through the purchase by international group Richemont. Owners of other such watchmaking and jewellery masters as Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre and IWC, Richemont’s purchase of Watchfinder is indicative of the importance of the pre-owned market in the cycle of luxury purchasing. The international expansion of the Watchfinder brand also begins.
2019
Growing at a rate of 500 subscribers per day, Watchfinder’s YouTube channel becomes one of the largest and most influential in the world, attracting over 2.5 million views a month to see exquisite footage of luxury watches and hear the stories behind them. The channel is a global sensation, attracting viewers from all around the world, and serves not only to promote the Watchfinder brand, but also the passion and knowledge it is built on.
